All new Atlas Originals merchandise (with the exception of Atlas Leather Hand Protector) carry a six-month Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Purchasers are entitled to a replacement or refund for defects in materials and workmanship.
What is Covered by this Warranty?
Atlas Originals warrants the Atlas Originals merchandise contained in the original packaging against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally ("fair use"), for a period of SIX (6) MONTHS from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period").
All claims made under the Atlas Originals Six-Month Limited Warranty will be governed by the terms set out below:-
What is Not Covered by this Warranty?
This Warranty does not apply to any damage arising from failure to use Atlas Originals products normally.
This Warranty does not apply:-
(a) to consumable parts, such as buckle of the lever belt, protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;
(b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;
(c) to damage caused by use with a third party component or product that does not meet fair use;
(d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake or other external cause;
(e) to damage caused by operating the Atlas Originals products outside fair use;
(f) to an Atlas Originals product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Atlas Originals;
(g) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Atlas Originals product;
(h) to stolen Atlas Originals product from the end-user purchaser; and
(i) to damage caused by service (including upgrades, maintenance, repair, replacement of parts and enhancement) performed by anyone who is not an authorised representative of Atlas Originals.
Important Restriction to Atlas Originals Products
Atlas Originals may restrict warranty service for Atlas Originals products to the country where Atlas Originals or its Authorised Distributors originally sold the Atlas Originals product.
Before receiving warranty service (including replacement, refund or any other arrangement deems appropriate by Atlas Originals), Atlas Originals may require that you furnish proof of purchase details, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues and follow Atlas Originals procedures for obtaining warranty service.
What will Atlas Originals Do in the Event the Warranty is Breached?
If during the Warranty Period you submit a claim to Atlas Originals in accordance with this warranty, Atlas Originals will, at its option:-
(a) repair the Atlas Originals product using new or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability,
(b) replace the Atlas Originals product with the same model (or with your consent a product that has similar functionality) formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or
(c) exchange the Atlas Originals product for a refund of your purchase price.
How to Obtain Warranty Service?
Please initial a Warranty Service request by emailing to us (email@example.com) together with the proof of purchase (i.e. invoice issued by Atlas Originals).
An Atlas Originals representative will be in touch with you. If Atlas Originals determines that your Atlas Originals product is within the Warranty Period, you shall arrange the Atlas Originals product to our premise.
Once the service is complete, Atlas Originals representative shall be in touch with you to arrange to return the Atlas Originals product to you. Atlas Originals will pay for shipping to your specified location within Malaysia.
Atlas Originals reserves the right to change the method by which Atlas Originals may provide warranty service to you, and your Atlas Originals product’s eligibility to receive a particular method of service. Service options, parts availability and response times may vary from time to time, depending on queue.
If you seek service in a country outside Malaysia, you will comply with all applicable import and export laws and regulations and be responsible for all custom duties, V.A.T. , GST and other associated taxes and charges necessary, in order to ship the Atlas Originals product to our premise in Malaysia.
Limitation of Liability
Except as provided in this web page, Atlas Originals is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages (including death, personal injury and any statutory liability for intentional, gross negligent acts or failure of fair use) resulting from any breach of warranty or conditions, or under any legal, theory, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of revenue / income / cash prize from competition), loss of the use of money, loss of goodwill, loss of business, loss of opportunity and loss of reputation.
Atlas Originals disclaims any representation that it will be able to repair any Atlas Originals product under this Warranty or replace the Atlas Originals product.
